We believe that geography or income should never stand in the way of talent and determination. The FRME Fellowship invests in the dreams of rural minority women, with special emphasis on enabling advanced studies in key medical and dental specializations.
About the Scholarship
Up to $10,000 USD per student is available through USA based privately operated philanthropic initiative. We aim to remove financial barriers for exceptional women from rural minority backgrounds who are dedicated to becoming future leaders in medicine and community health.
Who Can Apply?
- Women identifying with a minority community
- Permanent residents of rural areas in India
- Accepted or applying to an advanced medical program (MD, MDS, MS, DM, etc.)
- Strong academic record and demonstrated financial need

Required Documents
- Completed application form (PDF)
- Academic transcripts (UG/PG)
- Personal statement (500–750 words)
- Two academic or professional recommendations
- Proof of enrollment or admission offer (for final disbursement)
- Financial need statement with income documentation
- Short community service commitment plan
